Pam FraserI have been around sport all my life and am an avid photographer.  Having completed a degree in communications, became a sports administrator. I also enjoy coaching.  Recently I decided to follow my passion and join the freelance world, in photography and journalism.  My husband and I have three children and enjoy watching their sport, and travelling.

The leaderboard in the Country Cricket one day premiership is compacted at the top, with five teams all sharing the points. Weedons remain the only unbeaten team, having had the bye too. This weekend Southbrook were completely dominated by Darfield. They closed their innings at 105/9 with Jack Boyle the only resistance, scoring 30. Alice Barnes, from Cust Primary School, became the Canterbury Year 8 girls duathlon champion this week. The Canterbury competition was held out at Ruapuna. All competitors began with a 2km run, followed by a 6km cycle for the year 5 & 6 competitors, and 9km cycle for the year 7 & 8 competitors.
