The Rangiora High School polo team have been competing in the South Island Interschools Polo tournaments, culminating in the last tournament of the season over the weekend. They were competing in the D grade alongside Rangi Ruru B, St Margarets College and Christs College C. The Kaiapoi High School girls softball team competed at the South Island Secondary Schools Softball tournament in Alexandra.  On day one they had solid wins over Riccarton High 11-2, and Dunstan High 7-2.
